Tommy Milner and TAG Heuer Eyewear

I have been fortunate to work with TAG Heuer Eyewear and current ALMS GTE Champion, Tommy Milner on a new helmet design which takes elements of the TAG Heuer brand to Tommy’s helmet.

Working closely with TAG Heuer’s eyewear division in the US, I created a design which emphasizes the high end look of their products while retaining Tommy’s classic ‘Scallops’ and graphic elements. CJ Wilson Racing at Sebring

My latest client, CJ Wilson Racing hired me, while at Sebring to capture their fleet of Mazda MX-5 racecars in the first two rounds of the Playboy Mazda MX5 Cup. CJ Wilson, best known as a pitcher fo the Los Angeles Angels in the Major League Baseball Series runs a large team across two series with plans to expand into endurance racing in the future. It was a great weekend for the team with Elliott Skeer taking the win in Round 2 on the last lap.

2013 Spotter Guide series

The Spotter Guide series for 2013 is now in full swing! We started the season with the 24 Hours of Dubai, followed by the first of our endurance guides, the Official American Le Mans Series Guide, which is updated prior to each race.

New BMW Z4 GT3 models

Following the success of the 2010 Nurburgring 24 Hours Team Need for Speed BMW Z4, Minichamps have now launched the 2011 Edition which was driven by Tommy Milner, Edward Sandstrom and Claudia Hurtgen.

The car features the Poly mesh graphic from a video game model which made its debut at the Dubai 24Hours earlier this year. Unfortunately, this wasn’t reflective on the model!HomePage_HeaderN3

I was lucky to be invited to Dubai for the recent 24 Hours by the Saudi Falcons team, whom I’d worked with on a number of liveries. Champions, Bimmerworld return to Continential Tires Challenge

2012 ST Team Champions, Bimmerworld will return to the Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge this year. Two of the three cars will feature my liveries, which have been updated for 2013, while I work with the team on their forthcoming BMW F30 3 series racecar.

First round takes place this weekend as support to the Rolex 24Hours at Daytona. Wishing the team the best of luck.

Saudi Falcons shine in Dubai

The Saudi Falcons BMW Z4 GT3 took to the track this week in Dubai for the 24Hours. Run with Schubert Motorsports, the car featured a unique part Chrome livery which worked well in the strong light and sunset of the Middle East.

The cars were expertly wrapped by Christian Dreyer. Schubert had previously campaigned the Team Need for Speed BMW Z4’s with my livery, again, wrapped by Christian.

Saudi Falcons BMW Z4 GT3 for Dubai 24Hrs

With less than a month to go, The Saudi Falcons have revealed their 2013 Dubai 24hour challenger, which will be run by previous winners, Schubert Motorsport. The two car team will feature the chrome and solid green livery which I designed earlier this year.

The arc’s work particularly well on the side of the Z4 although the oversized number panel proved to be a bit of a headache, but we managed to create a design which doesn’t look too busy despite so many sponsors. Continue Reading

Following numerous requests I have produced a selection of desktop wallpapers featuring just the cars from the Spotter Guide series.

The first two wallpapers feature all the entries in the 2012 Le Mans 24 hours, in their finishing order while a second wallpaper features the Grid at the 2012 Petit Le Mans. You can download the wallpapers here.

Saudi Falcons debut new look

One of the leading teams in the Middle-East, the Saudi Falcons has a new look for their 2012/2013 season. The design features an evolution of the Falcon graphic on the side of their race cars which has now been emphasised by contrasting chrome and solid colouration

Following successful usage of material finishes on the Mustang RTR-X and the 2012 Tyler McQuarrie Racing Chevrolet Camaro, I took this one stage further by introducing a Chrome Green into their design. Working with the team over a number of months, we settled on solid color on the hood, roof and trunk as well as the ‘Falcon on the side. The contrast works well in the Middle East with their strong sunsets and open desert circuits. Continue Reading

SAS Porsche win Carrera Cup GB Championship

Matthew Meadows has followed in the SAS footsteps of Damien Faulkner by winning the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship for 2012. Meadows driving the Redline Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car won six races on the road to the title.
I originally designed the SAS livery back in 2004 for Andy and Gary Britnell and VLR Racing. Since then the livery has appeared every season and has been campaigned by many different teams including VLR, Motorbase, Lechner Racing and now Redline Racing.

SAS also sponsor a Porsche in the Middle East GT3 Cup

News – Bimmerworld win at Indy and the Championship

Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge Team, Bimmerworld continued their successful 2012 season with a 1-2 at Indianapolis and taking the  ‘ST’ Manufacturers Trophy for BMW in the series.

Congratulations to James and the whole team at Bimmerworld Racing. Richly deserved.

I am pleased to announce I am already working with Bimmerworld on their 2013 projects!

News – Not just cars….

One of my recent commissions was for an Aquatic Bedroom mural for a lucky three year old. The Wall featured many pre-school characters including Nemo, Cars 2, Little Mermaid, Team Umizoomi and Octonaughs. The mural was produced with Tester Pots, Acrylic Paint and Graffitti Paint and Pens.

Very enjoyable project, but it took many hours to finish. You might notice I did slip in a couple of cars. McMissile from Cars 2 and James Bond’s Lotus Esprit!!!

Porsche 918 RSR Retro Liveries

Way back in early 2011, I was working on vehicle customisation for Need for Speed The Run. EA had managed to obtain the rights for the Porsche 918 RSR Concept car which had been previewed earlier that year.

Each car  in-game has 2-3 levels of visual progression with a choice of colours at each level. I approached Porsche AG about creating some retro 917 liveries for the 918RSR given their heritage. It took a while but they eventually agreed to the three above, Hippy, Porsche Salzburg and the Pink Pig.
