Andy trained at the world famous Transport Design course at Coventry University. The degree course included a work placement period at Ypsilon Technology, Yamaha's R&D centre in the UK. Projects worked on included the Yamaha OX99-11 Supercar. Andy then joined the Raceprep3001 group, working on a varied number of projects for McLaren, MBK, Yamaha and the Royal Family of Brunei. This led to a position within the McLaren Group, working on McLaren Cars proposals, race transporters and a number of Pit Equipment projects. Andy developed the original concept drawings for the McLaren 2-seater F1 car and designed these Pit crew helmets which are still used NINE years later!

Andy has also worked on a number of freelance Automotive and Product design projects for MG Rover, Electronic Arts, Cummfy Banana, VLR Peugeot & Zytek. Andy is now the Senior car concept artist for the Need for Speed Computer games, designing hundreds of body kits each year from tuner to exotics. This has led to bodykit commissions in the real world. Andy has also completed artist impressions of forthcoming cars which can often be seen in Motorsport and Car maagzines.
