Leigh Rallying wins BTRDA class title -

Congratulations to Andy's brother in law, Rob Leigh (Navigator) and Darren Pinchin, who recently won the 2008 BTRDA Drivers and Navigators Championship for the 1400cc class.

Andy designed the Leigh Rallying website and has previously co-driven for Rob when he campaigned a Mini Cooper Rally car. Were all very proud of Rob's success

Andy has recently produced commenorative wallpaper for SEATCupra.net highlighting SEAT Sport UK's participation in the British Touring Car Championship

BK-Lola Mazda Illustration on SpeedTV.com +others

Andy was recently commissioned by Speed TV, to create an artist impression of the B-K Motorsports Lola Mazda coupe, which will appear later this year. Radio Le Mans 'Midweek Motorsport' logo

Andy has just completed a new logo for Radio Le Mans flagship show, Midweek Motorsport. Broadcast online every Wednesday evening and as a podcast, the show is presented by John Hindhaugh and Tim Grey. www.radiolemans.com

Andy was comissioned to produced new car 'Grid' graphics for this seasons BTCC coverage on ITV. The images are based of the BTCC Spotters Guide which you can download (see above).

Andy's designs remain in F1 for over a decade!
Every year, F1 teams attempt to out-do each other in the pit lane with new pit equiptment. McLaren started this trend back in the 90's. It is therefore a credit to Andy Blackmore, that the pit crew helmets he designed for the 1998 Championship Winning Season and the overhead garage modules, introduced at the 1997 French GP are still in use, Eleven years on!.

Leigh Rallying website relaunched.

The 'LeighRallying' website of BTRDA Navigator and rally driver, Robert Leigh has been relaunched to reflect his 2008 Championship Campaign.

The website is a great example of a low-cost effective website, which can be easily updated with page feeds from Blogger.com. The website address is www.leighrallying.co.uk

SEMA Show -Las Vegas, 2007
Andy spent three days at the SEMA aftermarket parts show in Las Vegas in November. SEMA is the biggest show of its kind in the world and is a great showcase of new and upcoming trends in Hot Rod, Muscle Car, Tuner and Race cars. A selection of Andy's photos are located HERE. 2007 BTCC, WTCC, DTM & Cupra UK Spotters Guide now available
2007 Edition Tintop Spotters Guides are now available to download free, in pdf format. Produced in conjunction with SEATCupra.net, Ten-Tenths.com and Fourtitude.com, each pdf features side view drawings of each car/team/driver combination. DeviantART is a portfolio style website for artists to showcase their work. Andy has recently joined and his 'DA' Page will showcase past projects and also his own 'free-time' work including the 'Vexel' style Red Bull SEAT Leon Touring car shown on the left. A1 GP Livery Competition - Through to the Final
Earlier this year, Andy mocked up a quick livery for an A1GP Netherlands Livery competiton. The competition was open to Amateurs and Professionals and over 1000 entries were received. An online 'fan' vote of the 12 finalists resulted in 3rd place for Andy (The winner of this round doesnt actually meet the brief). Not bad for 2 hours work :) You can view the design here.

BTCC: A-Tech Alfa Romeo Liveries
Andy was recently comissioned by A-Tech racing to design the liveries for their Alfa Romeo 156 British Touring Car Liveries. The brief and the design was completed and approved in just 24 hours! Due to the quick turn-around, the design had to be applied with vinyl only, using the original Alfa Romeo Red as a base. You can view a larger image here

Andy has recently produced a website for CheekyChops.ca, based in British Columbia, Canada. Cheeky Chops is a baby contentment and child sleep consultant which works with you and your child to help solve bedtime and naptime sleeping habits

McLaren F1 'Ueno Clinic' livery voted favourite by the fans.

The Black and Grey livery of 1995 Le Mans winner, Ueno Clinic McLaren F1 GTR was recently voted the favourite livery by fans in McLaren Automotive's monthly online poll. Two of Andy's other designs, 1995 Gulf and 1996 Fina also figured in the opinion poll. Visit the livery page for more of Andy's liveries.


Peugeot Cartoon makes print, web and t-shirts!
A cartoon was produced as part of the team identity for Team Farecla recently. This has been used extensively. Its first appearance was on the new team website. The image was also used in the Donington BTCC programme. Just 36 hours later, it was utilised for a third time, printed on T-shirts, for fans and team personnel. Maximum usage!!!

Peugeot 307 makes its second Andy Blackmore Design debut

Despite a late change of sponsor, the renamed Team Farecla made its debut in the British Touring Car Championship. You can read more about the team here

This makes a return to the championship for the Peugeot 307 BTCC car which Andy helped style with VLR in 2003.


Street Safari Van Livery
StreetSafari, the organisers of the original European banger rallies Staples2Naples and Home2Rome and CzechWrecks needed a livery for their support vehicle. As a previous entrant and winner of 'Best Livery', Andy was the natural choice for the Dad's Army styled livery. You can view the design in more detail, here

New British Touring Car Livery
Andy has recently completed an extensive team identity for the new Team Add-It team which will join the BTCC. Peugeot 307, truck, pit crew uniforms, team logo and Pit Garage Banners were all designed with this distinctive livery. Andy originally helped with the bodykit design of the Peugeot with VLR racing in 2003. The team aim to debut at the Donington round of the BTCC. More information available here

New LMP1 Coupe announced for 2010!
KW Motorsport recently commission Andy to work on a design proposasl for the new ‘Creation’ LMP racecar. With the aid of CAD drawings from the current car, Andy restyled and redesigned the machine to meet the new 2010 Le Mans ACO regulations. This is the third commission from KWM this year. BTCC Champions, Team Dynamics use Spotters Guide!
British Touring Car Champions, Team Dynamics commissioned Andy to create a special Spotters Guide for their ViP guests. The Team Dynamic version features larger images of the Team Dynamics cars at the top of the guide along with their unique Team Dynamics branding. 2006 BTCC Spotters Guide now available as free download

2006 Champ Car and F1 Prints now available
The first of Andy's 2006 car prints are now available and can often be found on Ebay. The first Champ car prints depict Sebastein Bourdais,Justin Wilson and Paul Tracy in their 2006 Machines. Other Champ Car prints will be available soon. Andy has also produced a F1 print with side views of all the Formula 1 teams.
