This was my third livery commission from Team BMR and Brand Pilot and this year and we developed the 2016 livery design which could become  interchangeable over time with different brands and colors, without diluting the look.

Taking reference from the italic Team BMR logo, I created a graphic with various Rhomboids (slanted rectangles) across the with accented strips either side in Dark Grey or Process Blue which is a corporate color for Adrian Flux. The Darker Blue used is a deep metallic vinyl and provides a good contrast to the White base required by Subaru and the team. These graphic areas also give clear defined spaces to the partners which help visibility at speed.

Team BMR Enters 2016 British Touring Car Championship with Subaru Levorg

Leading UK team, Team BMR will bring Subaru into the 2016 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship and commissioned me to create a rendering to head the announcement. This marks the third Subaru supported team I have worked for. I also create the livery design for the Subaru Rally Team USA (Vermont SportCar) and Subaru Canada (Rocket Racing Rally)

New look for Team BMR in the BTCC

A variety of concepts was initially submitted to the team before they selected this flowing design which was developed into the final concept, above.

With the artwork complete, Team BMR’s Vinyl supplied did a great job in wrapping four cars in 4-5 days. The final cars are close to the original concept with just some branding adjustments. The previous design was plain Black with a white rectangle on the bonnet (hood) for RCIB. Continue Reading
