AERO Paint Signature Livery Series by Andy Blackmore Design

I have been fortunate to work with one of my long standing clients, AERO paint, producing a new series of liveries, which we have named theÂ AERO Signature series.

Going forward, this livery will showcase AEROâ€™s products using their Satin Liquid Steel (shown below) alongsideÂ Gloss and Semi-chrome blue and red accents, flowing over the car, taking its inspiration from the sweep used in the AERO logo.

The first car that will carry this identity is the AERO CEO, James McGuireâ€™s Ligier JSP3. This will race in the Michelin Le Mans Cup across Europe. Run by ELMS LMP3 Champions, United Autosport, the AERO branded car will stand out at the front of the pack.

Livery Design for Corey Fergus and Moorespeed Racing

Leading Porsche racer, Corey Fergus has been a client for a number of years, campaigning Â various Porsche’s in the Pirelli World Challenge with an AERO supported ‘paint’ wrap including the Porsche Cayman below.

For 2017, Corey has teamed up with Moorespeed Racing to race in IMSA’s Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA with the new updated Gen 2 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car.

Project Trailhunter livery for SEMA

I have partnered with top car builder, Keith Charvonia again for this year’s SEMA Show with his Toyota LandCruiser FJ60 project ‘Trailhunter’.

We had previously worked together on the Scion Tuner Challenge winning Scion FR-S build a couple of years ago.

Keith is simply an awesome car builder who does much of the work himself. He has appeared on Jay Leno’s Garage with the Scion and his unique Kaiser Manhattan.

More on the build in a few weeks, but special thanks to my existing clients, AERO and Safecraft Safety Equipment who didn’t hesitate to come on board when I asked them.

Vancouver Canucks Livery Design

The Vancouver Canucks recently commissioned me to produce a livery for one of their new Toyota Tundra trucks. The NHL Hockey team wanted a striking and unique design to showcase their new relationship with Toyota and promote their â€˜#PlayForThisâ€™
campaign.

Corey Fergus to compete in PWC GT Cup class

2015 Pirelli World Challenge ‘TC’ Champion, Corey Fergus will move up to the GT Cup class of the Pirelli series with an updated livery on his new racecar, a Porsche 991 GT3 Cup Car. I designed the original AERO livery on his championship winning Porsche Cayman for the 2015 season from a joint commission by Corey and AERO paint films.

The livery has proved successful and recognizable in the crowded PWC grid in 2015, so the best approach was to update it to fit on the new 997.

Slightly different proportions and additional sponsor requirements resulted in an extensive rework on the side to ensure it was resolved on the longer wheelbase car. No cutting corners here.

His & Hers Ferrari 458 Challenge

Early last year, I was commissioned by well-known car enthusiast, Benjamin Sloss to create a unique livery (below) for his Ferrari 458 Challenge Evo using state of the art AERO Paint film usingÂ Cobalt Blue AERO Liquid Metalâ„¢ on Speed Yellow livery. AERO had suggested me after working on previous designs for CJ Wilson Racing and Tyler McQuarrie Racing.

After running his Ferrari 458 Challenge car over the last year, Sloss and his wife, Christine, decided to purchase another 458 Challenge EVO for her to drive as well. With so much success on the first livery, Mr. and Mrs. Sloss decided to reverse the Cobalt Blue and Speed Yellow livery for their second Challenge car (below).

Compass360 Racing Livery Feature

I was fortunate to work with Canadian team, Compass360 Racing on their new Audi fleet of racecars. At the end of last year, I designed a new livery for the Audi S3, which blended the traditional Compass360 look, a retro inspired Audi Sport identity with the vibrant and cool paint films of AERO.

The livery design process has now been released in the dedicated Portfolio section.

More recently, Compass360 Racing have been preparing to make their TUDOR debut at Lime Rock Park with a new Audi R8 LMS. I collaborated on the livery with the team owner (and leading Creative Director), Karl Thomson.

Livery Design for Corey Fergus and AERO

AERO paint films and Race driver, Corey Fergus, recently approached me to design a livery for his new Motorsports Promotion Porsche Cayman which he will compete in the the Pirelli World Challenge. With AERO as a partner, it was important to showcase the paint films which they create as well as supplyÂ other racers including Michael Shank Racing andÂ my designs forÂ CJ Wilson Mazda MX-5 (CTSC) and Tyler McQuarrie Racing’s Chevrolet Camaro (Formula Drift).
